At the end of each July, Toastmasters International awards clubs with a grade depending on their achievement against goals in these areas:
- Attracting and retaining members
- Collecting club subscriptions
- Committee members attending officer training events
- Members achieving awards such as Competent Communicator, Competent Leader and the advanced awards that come later.
Thanks to its energetic and dedicated committee and its enthusiastic members, Chiltern Speakers has achieved one of the top three awards every year since 2003-4
President’s Distinguished Club – the highest level of recognition available. The club met the membership prerequisite and achieved at least nine of the 10 goals.
