There are five contests that we can hold during the year. These are humorous and table topics (held together in September), International and evaluation (held together in February) and tall tales.
At Chiltern Speakers we do not usually not hold a tall tales contest, although we sometimes vote for a member to go straight through to the area contest.
Winners at the club stage win a trophy they can keep as well as one that they get engraved with their name and hand back in time for the equivalent contest a year later. They then take part at the area contest and can continue to national or even International level.
